College football fans have cried about the BCS rankings for years. Calling for a playoff system that supposedly would be unfair and ruin college football. I personally don’t think that it will. In fact, if done right, shortening the regular season to 10 games and having a 24-team, 4-round playoff with a fifth game deciding the National Champions, we could get rid of the controversy. Obviously, my idea behind the playoff has taken a couple of liberties with the Bowl games; however…this is how I see a BCS playoff system working.

I hope that the Broncos are given a fair shot at a BCS title every year. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Kellen Moore wins the Heisman this year (I am still mad that Cam Newton won last year, did the voters not remember Reggie Bush?).

The difference, I think, between me & 99% of the Bronco fans in Boise is that I look at the whole picture. Does Moore deserve to win the Heisman? Compare the stats of Andrew Luck, Moore, Tajh Boyd & Case Keenum…

Luck has a 72% completion percentage as does Keenum compared to Moore’s 64% and Boyd’s 62%. Boyd is averaging a TD every 13.95 completions while Luck & Moore average a TD every 13.79 (Keenum 11.85).

As much as I want Moore to win, right now the clear choice is Luck. This could possibly change in the next two weeks with Luck facing off against Oregon State & #7 Oregon and Moore playing against TCU and San Diego State.
